AMSIC History

Building on a Decade of Continental Success

After successfully hosting four continental congresses — beginning with AMSIC-1 in 2016 in Sfax, Tunisia, followed by AMSIC-2 in 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa, AMSIC-3 in 2021 in Dakar, Senegal, and most recently AMSIC-4 in 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — AMSIC-5 will take place from 2–6 November 2026 in Casablanca, Morocco, marking the next milestone in strengthening membrane science and technology across Africa.

 

AMSIC 1 was held in 2016 in Sfax, Tunisia
